We are seeking a skilled SQL and PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of databases in our organization. They will ensure the integrity and availability of databases and will be involved in the planning and development of the database as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.
Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL instances and databases.
Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
Backup and Recovery: Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to safeguard database integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Automation: Develop scripts for automation of database management tasks.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize database queries and performance.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure databases adhere to compliance standards and regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:
