Shankar is a highly experienced professional with a diverse range of skills and accomplishments. As CEO of Maximus Infoware, he oversees corporate strategy, business development and product direction. He engages closely with customers to understand their requirements and pain points, which he endeavours to address through the combined efforts of business development, application delivery and production support teams. His dedicated efforts have contributed to Maximus Infoware becoming a broad-based and global payment infrastructure company of repute.

Prior to founding Maximus Infoware, Shankar was Managing Director & CEO of Interconnected Stock Exchange of India (ISE), which inter-linked 14 stock exchanges in India and had over 4,500 trading members. Before that, he was Director – IT & Market Operations at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and drove the implementation of BSE Online Trading (BOLT) system and many other significant IT initiatives.

Shankar's educational background is an engineering degree, followed by a master’s degree in business management. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, listening to classical music and reading humour, especially the works of P. G. Wodehouse and others.

Uma is the other founder of Maximus Infoware, and as Director of Finance and Human Resources, she oversees two crucial aspects of the company's operations. As head of finance, she manages the company's finances, investments, and financial risks. Under her management, Maximus Infoware was rated as "financially stable" by Crisil/S&P in 2018.

As the head of human resources, Uma is responsible for ensuring that the company retains a people-centric culture, which is a key strength of the company. She combines her feminine instincts with professional wisdom to create a unique and people-oriented culture.

Prior to co-founding Maximus Infoware, Uma ran her own business in packaged software distribution for eight years, which won many awards and had over 3,000 customers. Some of her key employees from this venture are still with Maximus today. Before this, Uma worked for ten years at the State Bank of India and Syndicate Bank.

Uma's professional qualifications include CPA (USA) and ICWA (India). In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, listening to Indian classical music, and reading autobiographies and travelogues.

Sajit Kumar is Sr. Vice President at SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SVCL) and has been actively involved in making venture investments and exits for over two decades.

Hitherto he has represented SVCL on the boards of a number of investee companies viz. IndiaIdeas.com Limited (‘Billdesk’), Synergistic Financial Networks Private Limited (‘Mosambee’), Manthan Software Services Private Limited, Western India Cashew Company Private Limited, Centaur Pharmaceuticals Private Limited and Stovekraft Limited.

With rich experience in delivery channel and payment industry solutions, he advises the company on strategic and policy matters.
